KTM 450 SX-F Ricochet Aluminum Skid Plate

This Ricochet skid plate bolts straight to your 2007-2026 KTM 450 SX-F and shields the engine, frame, and undercarriage from rocks, roots, and whatever else you hit out there. No drilling required—it uses Ricochet's proprietary mounting hardware that clamps right on. The whole thing installs in under an hour and comes wrapped in clear anodize to fight corrosion.

What You Get

One skid plate built from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick. Includes the heavy-duty brackets and all the hardware you need to bolt it down. That's it—no extra parts to hunt down, no machine work required.

Material & Build

The aluminum is solid enough to take repeated hits without denting or cracking. The clear anodize finish gives it an extra layer of protection against rust and corrosion, so it'll hold up through wet rides and storage. Everything's made right here in the USA.

Finish Options

It ships with the clear anodize finish standard. If you want a black powder coat instead, we can do that for you—just add it to your order. Fair warning: going with black adds about 1-2 weeks to your ship time, but it'll look sharp and last just as long.
