If you're running a KTM 990 Adventure between 2006 and 2014, this skid plate is made to sit underneath and take the hits your bike's engine and frame would otherwise take. Rocks, logs, stumps, and rough terrain—they all come at your undercarriage. This one's built to handle it.
What You Get
The plate itself is 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick. It comes with heavy-duty brackets and all the hardware you need to bolt it on—no drilling, no tapping into your frame. Straight bolt-and-go install. The whole thing ships with a clear anodize finish that adds a layer of corrosion protection right out of the box.
About The Finish Options
You've got two ways to go here. Leave it as-is with the clear anodize, or add a black powder coat for a few bucks more. If you choose the black powder coat, plan on waiting an extra 1-2 weeks for it to ship. That's the only color available for the powder coat option. If you want something custom, the surface comes ready for you to powder coat yourself at home.
