Polaris General XP 1000 MaxDrive Power Flip Glass Windshield

Your Polaris General XP 1000 gets beat up by wind, dust, and weather when you're out on the trail. This flip windshield solves that problem—it gives you real glass protection when you need it, and the ability to drop it down and feel the breeze whenever you want. The whole thing runs on electric motors, so you adjust it with a button push while you're driving. No stopping, no climbing out.

What You're Getting

The kit ships with everything bolted together and ready to mount. You get the glass panel itself, the steel frame, all four mounting clamps, a pair of hinges, two electric actuators with their brackets, plus all the rubber seals and gaskets. There's also a wiring harness and rocker switch so you can control it from inside the cab. Installation takes a few hours if you're comfortable with basic tools.

Glass and Frame Quality

SuperATV built this windshield with actual glass—not plastic that fogs up or scratches after a season. The material resists damage from rocks and brush, so it stays clear year after year. There's a light tint baked in to cut down glare without making it hard to see. The frame is steel, which keeps everything rigid even when you're bouncing over rough ground. The electronic actuators are built heavy-duty to hold their position no matter what terrain you throw at them.

Sealing and Fit

The rubber seal comes pre-installed around the edges, so you don't waste time fussing with it during setup. When it's closed, it keeps dust and air leaks out, which means your cab stays warm or cool depending on the season. Heavy-duty clamps cinch everything tight so there's no rattle as you drive.

Add-On Wiper and Washer Option

If you want to keep the glass clean while you're moving, there's an optional wiper and washer kit. The motorized wiper tucks away when it's off, and the washer system sprays fluid to knock off dirt and grime. Installation uses the pre-drilled holes in the frame—just hook up the included wiring harness and rocker switch.

MaxDrive Power Flip vs. Manual Flip Down

Two ways to go here depending on how much convenience matters to you.

MaxDrive Power Flip (this one): Button control from inside the cab. Adjust it while driving to dial in airflow. More wiring and electrical stuff, but way easier to use. Glass clarity and scratch resistance are the same either way.

Flip Down Glass (manual option): You hinge it down by hand for maximum open-air feeling. Simpler wiring, faster install. You have to stop and get out to open or close it.

Go with the power version if you like adjusting on the fly. Pick the manual flip if you want fewer electronics and don't mind the extra step.
