Polaris Ranger 1000 Flip Windshield

Your Polaris Ranger 1000 takes a beating out there—wind, sun, flying rocks, branches, whatever the trail throws at you. A flip windshield gives you the option to stay protected or open things up for fresh air, all without stopping. You control how much weather hits you and how much airflow you get, which means longer, more comfortable rides no matter the season.

What You're Getting

The package includes a foam gasket, bulb seal, heavy-duty clamps, a metal cross brace, and gas struts. These parts work together to keep everything solid and rattle-free. The multi-stage latch system lets you flip between three positions—fully closed, vented, or wide open—right from your seat.

The Material

This windshield is made from 1/4-inch polycarbonate, available in clear or dark tint. Polycarbonate is way tougher than acrylic or glass—about 25 times stronger than acrylic and 250 times stronger than glass. That means it'll stand up to the rough stuff without cracking or shattering.

Hard Coating for Long Life

Both sides get a scratch-resistant hard coating that keeps the surface from getting abraded by trail debris and harsh UV rays. This coating resists sun spots, yellowing, and fading, so your windshield stays clear and looking good for years.

Flip Up vs. Flip Down

Flip Up: Open it partially or fully for adjustable airflow. You can change positions without leaving your seat, so it's quick to adapt when conditions shift.

Flip Down: Folds completely down for zero obstruction. Simpler hinge design, but you'll need to stop and get out to change it.
