The windshield arrives fully assembled. You just clamp it in place and bolt it down. A full-length foam gasket and bulb seal wrap all the way around, which means no air leaks when it's closed and nothing rattles while you're riding. That gasket stops the whole thing from slipping or vibrating loose on rough terrain.
