Polaris Ranger 800 RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion

Your Polaris Ranger 800 takes a beating week in and week out. The steering rack is working hard every time you drive, and factory racks wear out faster than you'd like. A worn-out rack means sloppy steering, wandering feel, and more work at the wheel. The RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion swaps in to fix that problem with a tougher design that cuts wear in half and handles the punishment you throw at it.

How It Stays Tight Longer

The dual PTFE bushing setup at both ends of the rack is the key. SuperATV calls it X24 Tech, and it stops the slop and wear you'd normally see. Instead of getting loose after a season of mud, rocks, and big tires, this rack stays responsive. Grease fittings are built right in, so you can clean out the crud that sneaks in when you're running through water or deep mud. That's how you keep things tight without taking the whole thing apart.

Two Tie Rod Choices

Swaged Steel Tubes: These are 7/8-inch diameter tubes with the ends swaged down for strength. You get 16 mm inner ball and sockets and 14 mm outer tie rod ends. They're lighter than solid bars and tough enough for normal to moderate trail work.

Solid Steel Bars: If you're running bigger upgrades and want zero flex, go solid. These are 1-inch diameter bars paired with heavy-duty heim joint tie rod ends. They use 16 mm rack threads and 3/4-inch rod threads. Built for serious abuse and big tire setups.

What's Included

Both versions come with inner boots, misalignment bushings, tie rod studs, a steering stop kit, and all the hardware you need to bolt it in. Everything's there—no surprises when the box arrives.
