This complete skid plate set from Ricochet wraps all the vulnerable spots in one package, so you walk away with a dent instead of needing a mechanic.

This is a full-coverage kit designed for six-seat Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 NorthStar models from 2018 through 2026. Inside the box:
- Complete frame skid plate with front bash plate
- Front and rear A-arm protection

- Rock sliders running the length of both sides
- All bolts and fasteners you need for a solid, rattle-free install
Material Options
You've got three ways to set this up, depending on how and where you ride.
- 3/16" 5052-H32 Aircraft Grade Aluminum: Rock-solid aluminum throughout. Rigid, handles impacts well, and lasts a long time. Pick this if you want straightforward, all-around protection.
- Aluminum with 1/4" UHMW on Frame Skids: Gets you the best of both worlds—aluminum guards everywhere else, but the frame skids have a 1/4" layer of UHMW plastic bonded on top. That plastic layer lets you slide over rocks and roots smoother while the aluminum handles the real abuse. Works great for mixed terrain.
- 1/2" UHMW Frame Skids with Aluminum Guards: Frame skids built from thick, self-lubricating UHMW plastic that glides over rocky and rooted terrain like nothing. Everything else stays aluminum. Go this route if you're constantly on gnarly, rocky trails.
Black Powder Coat Finish
Want it all blacked out? We can powder coat your kit in black. UHMW plastic can't be coated, so this is only available with the aluminum kits. Two choices:
- Visible Pieces Only: Front bash plate, A-arm guards, and rock sliders—$180 extra. Good option if you went with UHMW frame skids and want the visible aluminum pieces to match.
- Everything Coated: Covers the bash plate, A-arm guards, linkage guards, rock sliders, and frame skids—$275 extra.
If you order powder coat, add 1-2 weeks to shipping while it gets finished.
