- 3/16" Aircraft Grade Aluminum (Full Kit): All pieces are tough, rigid aluminum that takes hits and keeps protecting. Straightforward choice if you want one material across the whole package.
- Aluminum Frame with 1/4" UHMW Layer: The frame skids get beefier ā 3/16" aluminum topped with 1/4" of ultra-high-molecular-weight plastic for better sliding action over rocks and logs, while the rest stays aluminum. Good middle ground for mixed terrain.
- 1/2" UHMW Frame Skids: Your frame skids are pure thick plastic (1/2" UHMW) ā lightweight, self-lubricated, and slippery over rough ground. Perfect if you're constantly on rocky or rooted trails. Everything else in the kit stays aluminum.
Black Powder Coat Options
Want everything blacked out? We do black powder coat in two flavors. Keep in mind UHMW plastic can't be coated, so these upgrades work with aluminum pieces only. Powder coat orders typically take an extra 1-2 weeks to ship.
- Visible Pieces: Front bash plate, A-arm guards, and rock sliders get the black coat for $180 extra. Smart move if you pick a UHMW frame option and want all your aluminum pieces to match.
- Everything: Front bash plate, A-arm guards, rear linkage guards, rock sliders, and frame skids all powder coated in black for $275 extra.
