Your Polaris Ranger 900 Diesel works hard every single day, and the stock steering rack wasn't built to keep up forever. Once it starts wearing out, you'll notice play in the wheel and sluggish handling. That's where the RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion comes in — it's built to take the abuse and stay tight for years.

The X24 dual-bushing system is the core of what makes this rack different. Instead of a single bushing, you get two PTFE bushings working together — one on each end of the internal gears and tension spring. This cuts down on movement inside the rack, which means less wear on all the moving parts. A built-in grease fitting lets you top it off after muddy weekends, so it stays in good shape. Most guys find this setup lasts about twice as long as a stock unit.

You get to pick how you want to set up your steering. The first choice is swaged tube tie rods — these are hollow 7/8-inch tubes with a flared-out design that gives them way more strength than the tubing alone. The second choice is solid steel bar tie rods made from fat 1-inch bars, paired with 3/4-inch outer heim joints if you want maximum beef.

Both options include rebuildable inner ball and socket joints, protective boots, steering stops, and all the hardware and bushings you need to bolt it on.
