Description

Your steering system takes a beating out there—heavy tires, rough whoops, rocks, branches, the works. Stock rack and pinion setups wear out fast, leaving you with mushy, unpredictable handling that gets worse with every ride. A solid steering assembly makes a real difference in how your machine responds and how long it'll actually last before you're looking at a rebuild.

This is where the RackBoss rack and pinion comes in. It's built to handle serious trail abuse without going soft on you. The whole thing is stronger and tougher than what comes standard, so your steering stays tight and responsive even after years of hard use.

What makes it tougher

The housing itself has 40% more material than the competition, which means no more cracking under stress. Inside, you're getting a rack gear that's 15% larger and wrapped in a wear-resistant Teflon bushing. In real-world testing, this setup showed virtually no wear after 50,000 strokes—while other brands were already showing obvious damage at 30,000.

The tie rod ends are oversized 4130 Chromoly, heat-treated and finished to handle the load. That bigger bearing surface spreads out the stress, so you get better durability and reliability where it counts most.

What you're getting

Complete rack and pinion assembly, ready to bolt in. It replaces OEM part #1824429.

Fitment notes

  • Polaris Ranger Full-Size 570 (2016)
  • Polaris Ranger Full-Size 570 Crew (2016)

Important: This will NOT work with an XP 570 that has a formed PRO-FIT cage. You need a round tube cage with front strut suspension for this to fit right.
