Description
When you're running a front windshield on your Polaris Ranger XD 1500, dust and air get pulled straight into the cab—it's annoying and uncomfortable. A rear windshield fixes that. It blocks the wind, keeps out dust clouds, mud, and cold air coming off the back, and when paired with a front piece, it stops that suction effect dead. You get a quieter, cleaner ride.
What You're Getting
The windshield is built from polycarbonate that won't shatter like glass would. It comes with heavy-duty gaskets and seals to lock out moisture and drafts, plus solid clamps that hold everything tight with zero rattle. There's also an optional XR Optic Hard Coating available if you want extra scratch protection and UV shielding.
Why Polycarbonate Works
Polycarbonate is about 250 times tougher than glass. Rocks, dirt clods, branches, and trail debris won't crack it. It's the standard material for side-by-side windshields because it actually holds up to what you throw at it out there.
The XR Optic Option
If you go with the XR Optic Hard Coating, you get both sides treated. It beefs up scratch resistance and shields against sun damage—worth considering if you're in a dusty area or plan to keep the machine for years.
