Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Flip Down Windshield

Need a windshield that works year-round? This flip-down option lets you go from full weather protection to completely open airflow in seconds—no tools, no fuss. Rain, snow, heat, wind—just adjust it to match what you're facing out on the trail. When you want maximum visibility and fresh air, it folds flat out of the way.

What You Get

The windshield ships with hinges already bolted on. You'll install the rubber seals and gaskets, then attach it to your cage. That's it. No drilling, no complicated hardware—takes about five minutes start to finish. Once it's mounted, it sits tight and won't rattle, even when things get rough.

Material & Durability

This one's built from polycarbonate, not glass. That means it's roughly 250 times tougher than regular glass and handles the abuse that comes with serious trail time. Flying rocks, branches, trail debris—polycarbonate shrugs it off where other materials would shatter or crack. SuperATV's polycarbonate also resists scratching from everyday contact with brush and brush.

XR Optic Hard Coating (Optional)

If you want extra scratch resistance, you can add SuperATV's proprietary hard coating. It keeps the windshield looking clear longer—especially if you're riding through thick brush or dusty conditions. The coating is also UV-resistant, so sun exposure won't cause yellowing, fading, or clouding over time.

Flip Down vs. Flip Up

Flip Down: Folds completely flat when open, giving you an unobstructed view and total airflow. Simple hinge design. You stop and step out to change position.

Flip Up: Lets you open it partway for dialed-in airflow control. More versatile if weather or conditions keep shifting. You can adjust it without getting out.

Pick flip down if you want simplicity and maximum openness. Pick flip up if you need mid-ride adjustments.
