Description
Your Polaris Ranger's undercarriage takes a beating on the trail—rocks, branches, and rough terrain can all do real damage to the belly of your machine. A skid plate is your first line of defense, and this one from SuperATV is built to actually stop that damage instead of just denting up after a few runs.
What You're Getting
This is a full skid plate system designed to bolt straight onto your Ranger XP 1000. It covers the vulnerable undercarriage areas where you need protection most. The plate comes ready to install with everything hardware-wise already figured out—you just bolt it down and you're done.
The Material That Makes It Work
SuperATV makes this from ARMW, a proprietary blend of UHMW plastic that's built to shrug off abuse. It won't dent or crack from flying rocks and trail debris the way steel can, and it sheds scratches way better than you'd expect. The material's got low friction, so it slides over rocks and roots instead of grabbing them. You'll also notice drain holes molded into the plate—mud and dirt wash right through instead of piling up and getting heavy.
