Description
Sick of eating dust and getting blasted by wind every time you take your Polaris Ranger XP 1000 out? A half windshield fixes that. It blocks the worst of the wind and flying debris without sealing you in or killing your sightlines. You get fresh air flow, decent protection, and the ability to actually see where you're going ā all at once.
What You're Getting
This is a half-height windshield made from 1/4" polycarbonate. It clamps straight to your Ranger's frame and won't shift around, even on gnarly terrain. The height is dialed in so wind and grit get pushed up and over your head instead of straight in your face, but it doesn't block your view or make the cab feel cramped.
Why Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate is the real deal when it comes to durability. It's 25 times tougher than acrylic and 250 times stronger than glass, so it'll handle rocks, branches, and trail abuse without shattering. SuperATV uses 1/4" thickness specifically because it's the best material for side-by-sides ā it won't let you down.
Half Windshield vs. Full Vented
Half windshield: Maximum airflow, keeps you cooler, zero view obstruction, sheds wind and dust off your shoulders.
Full vented windshield: More complete coverage from weather and debris, but heavier and the cab feels more enclosed even with vents.
Pick half if you want the breeze and simplicity. Pick full vented if you need stronger all-around protection and can live with a little more weight.
