How It's Built
Ricochet went with aluminum and UHMW plastic for this one — aluminum takes the hits on the frame and front bash plate, while the UHMW sliders along the sides stay flexible so they absorb impacts without cracking. It's a combo that actually works in the real world.
About The Black Powder Coat
You can add a black powder coat finish to some or all of the aluminum pieces. If you go this route, plan on an extra 1-2 weeks before it ships. Two ways to do it:
- Complete coverage: Coat everything — front bash plate, A-arm guards, rock sliders, and frame skids — for $275 extra.
- Visible pieces only: Just the A-arm guards and rock sliders for $180 extra. A lot of guys pick this when they're running UHMW and want just the aluminum bits to match.
