Polaris Ranger XP 900 RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion

If you've put your Polaris Ranger XP 900 through serious terrain, you've probably noticed the steering getting looser and less sharp. That's what happens when your stock rack takes a beating from rocks, ruts, and constant side-to-side abuse. The RackBoss 2.0 fixes that problem with a completely different design that keeps everything tight and responsive, even after years of hard use.

SuperATV engineered this rack around a dual-bushing system called X24 Tech that cuts down internal wear by more than half. Heavy-duty PTFE bushings sit at each end of the rack, locking the gear and spring nearly solid. The result is steering that stays crisp whether you're running big tires, stacking on accessories, or just hammering rocky trails where most stock setups would fall apart.

What You Get

The RackBoss 2.0 comes as a complete assembly with your choice of two tie rod styles. Both versions include inner boots, a grease zerk for easy maintenance, a steering stop kit, misalignment bushings, studs, and all the hardware you need to bolt it in. You'll just need to pick which tie rod setup works best for your build.

Tie Rod Options

Swaged Tube Tie Rods: Built from 7/8-inch steel tubing with a flared-out swaged end that adds real strength. These use 14 mm outer rod threads, 16 mm rack threads, and upgraded tie rod ends that can handle serious abuse.

Solid Steel Tie Rods: Made from 1-inch solid steel bar paired with chromoly heim joint ends. The outer threads are 3/4 inch, inner ball and sockets run 16 mm rack threads, and everything is rebuildable if you ever need to service them down the road.

Both options come greasable and packed with misalignment bushings so you can dial in your geometry exactly how you want it.
