The 1/4-inch polycarbonate is incredibly tough—about 250 times stronger than glass and 25 times stronger than acrylic. It won't shatter or crack when rocks kick up or branches smack into it. The XR Optic Hard Coating on top adds serious scratch resistance and UV protection, so it won't yellow, fade, or get sun-spotted over time.
