Polaris RZR S 1000 RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion

Your steering rack takes a beating every time you hit the trail. Stock racks wear out, develop slop, and make turning feel mushy and unpredictable. The RackBoss 2.0 fixes that problem with a dual-bushing design that cuts internal wear roughly in half compared to what you get from the factory. It's built tough enough to handle bigger tires, rough terrain, and years of hard riding while staying tight and responsive.

You've got two choices here—solid steel tie rods or swaged tube tie rods—both come with SuperATV's X24 Tech bushings and all the hardware you need for installation.

How It Works

The key is those heavy-duty PTFE bushings bolted to both ends of the rack. They eliminate the wiggle and play that develops in stock setups. When internal movement is kept to a minimum, the tension spring stays put, and your steering stays crisp through the roughest days. The grease fitting lets you pump fresh lubricant in after muddy or watery runs to keep everything running smoothly.

Two Tie Rod Options

Solid Steel Bar Tie Rods
Built from 1" solid steel bars paired with oversized 3/4" outer heim joint tie rods and rebuildable inner tie rods. The threads are 3/4" rod and 16 mm rack size. This setup soaks up hard hits and handles the abuse that comes with big tires and aggressive riding.

Swaged Tube Tie Rods
A 7/8" steel tube gets flared out for extra strength and to stop shearing. Comes with premium tie rod ends using 14 mm rod threads and 16 mm rack threads. This option is lighter and perfect if you're pushing your machine to its limits without adding unnecessary weight.

Both options include inner boots, misalignment bushings, tie rod studs, hardware, and a steering stop kit. Both are greasable.
