Polaris RZR S 900 RackBoss 2.0 Rack and Pinion

Over time, your steering rack gets looser. The wheel feels sloppy, and turning the bars takes more effort than it should. A worn-out rack is just part of owning an off-road machine—until now. The RackBoss 2.0 is built differently. It uses X24 Tech, a dual-bushing setup that cuts wear in half compared to what comes stock. That means you get years more life out of your steering before slop creeps back in, no matter how hard you push it on the trail.

How It Stays Tight

The secret is those dual bushings. SuperATV machines each end of the rack with heavy-duty PTFE bushings that lock down internal play. Less movement inside means the tension spring barely budges. When your steering geometry stays locked in place like this, you can run big tires and hit nasty terrain without watching your handling fall apart. And since there's a grease fitting built in, you can pump fresh grease through after muddy or wet rides to keep things clean.

Two Tie Rod Options

You get two choices here, and they're both solid.

Solid Steel Bar Tie Rods: These are the beefier option. They're made from 1" diameter solid steel bars paired with 3/4" outer heim joint ends and rebuildable inner tie rods. The threads are 3/4" rod and 16 mm rack. Built for taking hits and handling oversized tires without backing down.

Swaged Tube Tie Rods: Lighter weight but still plenty tough. The steel tubes flare out at the ends, which makes them stronger than a standard 7/8" tube would be. They connect with 14 mm rod threads and 16 mm rack threads on the ends. You don't sacrifice strength, just shed a little weight.
