You've got two solid choices here. The 3/16" aluminum option gives you 4 pieces that are tough and won't rust. If you want maximum impact resistance, go with the 1/2" UHMW (ultra-high-molecular-weight plastic) — that comes as 8 pieces and absorbs hits better than aluminum.

Powder Coat Finish

Want it in black? You can add a black powder coat finish for an extra $130. Just know that if you choose this, tack on another 1-2 weeks before it ships out to you.
