This skid plate set fits all 2011-2022 Sportsman 1000 Touring models and gives your undercarriage real protection from rocks, logs, stumps, and whatever else is under there. Without a skid plate, you're leaving your frame, CV boots, and floorboards exposed to damage that can get expensive fast.

Pick Your Material

You've got two choices here. Go with 3/16" 5052-H32 Aluminum for a solid, lightweight option. Or step up to 3/16" Aluminum with a 1/4" UHMW Layer on top — that ultra-high molecular weight plastic adds extra toughness where you need it most, especially if you're running rocky terrain a lot.

Black Powder Coat Finish

Want black instead? You can add a black powder coat to your skid plate for better looks and durability. Just know that if you choose this, tack on an extra 1-2 weeks to your ship time.

Visible option: Black coat on the A-Arm guards only — $50 extra.

Complete option: Black coat on everything — front bash plate, A-arm guards, floorboards, and frame skids — $160 extra.
