Description
Full Skid Plate Kit for Polaris Sportsman 550 (2009–2019) – Aluminum or UHMW Options
Your Sportsman's undercarriage takes a beating on the trail — rocks, logs, stumps, and rough terrain all put stress on your skid plates, A-arms, and floorboards. This full kit wraps protection around the areas that matter most. You get to choose between straight aluminum or a tougher aluminum-and-UHMW combo, depending on how hard you ride.

What's In The Box
- Full frame skid plate set
- Front & rear A-Arm and CV boot guards
- Left & right floorboard guards
- All mounting bolts and hardware you need
Material Choices
3/16" 5052 H-32 Aluminum: Holds up well, won't rust, and gives you solid protection without the extra weight of a hybrid setup.
3/16" Aluminum with 1/4" UHMW: UHMW is slicker and tougher on impact — go with this if you're hitting rocks hard or doing a lot of sliding over rough ground. It'll take more abuse.
Black Powder Coat Finish (Optional)
Want your kit to look more finished and protected from the elements? You can add a black powder coat finish in two ways:
- Visible Pieces – $50: Just the A-arm guards get coated
- Complete Package – $160: Front bash plate, A-arm guards, floorboards, and frame skids all get the black finish
If you choose powder coat, expect an extra 1–2 weeks before it ships out.
