Description
A-Arm Guards for Polaris Sportsman 450 Ultimate Trail (2021–2023)
Your Polaris Sportsman 450 Ultimate Trail's front and rear A-arms and CV boots take a beating on the trail — rocks, logs, stumps, and sharp debris can all cause serious damage. These guards bolt right on to shield those vulnerable suspension parts. You get both front and rear protection, plus guards for your CV boots, so you're covered where it counts.
What you're getting
- Front A-arm guards and rear A-arm guards
- CV boot guards (front and rear)
- Complete bolt kit for mounting
Build and materials
These are made from 3/16" 5052-H32 aluminum — solid material that won't bend or crack under real trail conditions. The thickness and alloy choice mean they'll handle repeated impacts without failing. Built right here in the USA and ready to go straight out of the box.
If you want even tougher abrasion resistance, Ricochet also makes a version with a UHMW (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) overlay bonded to the aluminum. That overlay takes the scrapes and rubs so the aluminum underneath stays intact longer. It costs a bit more, but if you're running tight, rocky terrain a lot, it's worth considering.
Color and finish
Standard guards ship as-is. If you'd rather have them in black powder coat for a finished look, add that for $50 — just plan on an extra 1 to 2 weeks for that finish to be applied and shipped out.
Assembly notes
When you bolt these on, use blue Loctite instead of anti-seize. It'll hold the bolts tighter and keeps them from loosening up as you go over bumps.
