Description
If you're putting a Ricochet skid plate on your Triumph Tiger 800 and the rubber mounting isolators are cracked, flattened, or missing, you need replacements that'll actually work. The factory isolators can wear out or disappear during a skid plate install, and without good mounts your new protection won't sit right or do its job.
What You're Getting
This is a single rubber mounting isolator. Keep in mind that a full Tiger 800 skid plate setup needs four (4) of these, so order enough to cover all four mounting points.
How It's Built
Each isolator has a thick rubber body in the middle that soaks up vibration and keeps the skid plate from rattling against the frame. Two steel posts are bonded to that rubber core — they're what bolt everything together and hold solid even when you're bouncing over rocks and roots.
