Description
Gas Gas EC 250 2-Stroke Skid Plate (1998–2013) | Aircraft-Grade Aluminum | Made in the USA
If you're riding a Gas Gas EC 250 two-stroke between 1998 and 2013, you know how capable these bikes are on the trail. What you also know is that rocks, roots, and stumps can do real damage to your undercarriage if something's not protecting it. That's where this skid plate comes in — it bolts right on to shield your engine and frame from impacts without any drilling or modifications needed.
What You Get
- One full-coverage skid plate with clear anodized finish as standard
- Heat-treated Chrome-Moly mounting clamps that clamp tight
- All bolts and hardware — nothing else to buy
Materials & Build
The skid plate itself is cut from 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum and comes in at 0.160" thick — that's the sweet spot for real protection without making it heavy to haul around. The clear anodized finish that comes standard gives you some corrosion resistance and keeps the aluminum looking clean over time. Your mounting clamps are heat-treated Chrome-Moly, which means they stay locked in place and won't rattle loose.
Installation
No drilling into your frame, no tapping threads — the clamp system just cinches everything down tight. Takes about fifteen minutes and you're done. If you ever need to pull it off for service or replacement, it comes right off just as easy.
Black Powder Coat Option
Want it in black instead of bare aluminum? We can add a black powder coat finish for you before it ships out. Just know that if you choose this option, plan on an extra 1 to 2 weeks for delivery while we get the coating done.
Made in the USA.
