Your Transalp's undercarriage takes a beating on the trail — rocks, logs, stumps, and rough terrain all threaten the engine and vital components underneath. This Ricochet skid plate bolts on to shield everything below, keeping your bike running strong no matter what you hit. Installation is straightforward with no drilling needed, and the hardware that comes in the box is built to stay put.

What you're getting
The plate itself is 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160" thick — that's real material that won't dent or flex under impact. It comes with custom chromoly brackets (more than twice as strong as regular steel) and fasteners that are designed to stay tight and won't rattle loose. Everything bolts on in minutes with basic tools, and you can take it off just as easily if you need to service something underneath.
Two versions to choose from
- Standard aluminum plate (SKU 355): Ships with a clear anodized finish that protects the metal from corrosion.
- With UHMW backing (SKU 355-P): Adds a ¼" thick plastic backing layer that absorbs impacts better and cuts down on vibration and noise while you're riding.
Color and finish options
Want it in black instead? You can add a black powder coat finish for extra durability and a finished look — just know that'll add 1 to 2 weeks to the ship time.
