How It's Made
The plate itself is 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160" thick. That's the same material you'll find on real aircraft — it's tough, it won't rust, and it won't let you down. The mounting clamps are heat-treated Chrome-Moly, which means they stay locked in place and won't rattle loose after a day of riding.
Installation
Forget the drill press. These clamps bolt straight to your bike with zero modifications. Takes about fifteen minutes and you're done. When you need to pull it off for maintenance, it comes right off just as easy.
Color Options
It ships with a clear anodized finish that looks clean and lasts. If you want it blacked out instead, you can add a black powder coat finish for $30 — just plan on waiting an extra 1 to 2 weeks for that to ship.
