The Materials
This is built from 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, the same stuff you'll find on serious machines. At 0.160" thick, it's got the strength to absorb hits without adding weight you don't need. The clear anodized finish comes standard and keeps the metal looking clean while resisting corrosion.
Mounting System
Heat-treated Chrome-Moly clamps do all the work—they bolt to your bike's frame without requiring any drilling or tapping. Installation takes minutes, and once it's on, everything stays tight and rattle-free. You can pull it off just as easily if you need to.

Want it blacked out instead of bare metal? Add a black powder coat finish for $30. Keep in mind that if you choose the powder coat, tack on an extra 1 to 2 weeks for shipping while it gets coated and cured.
