The Material
5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum is what this is made from. It's the real deal—tough enough for serious riding and doesn't add a ton of weight. The plate is 0.160" thick, which gives you the protection you need without overdoing it.
It comes standard with a clear anodized finish that protects the metal and keeps things looking clean.
Installation
Those heat-treated Chrome-Moly clamps do all the work. No drilling holes in your frame, no tapping threads—just bolt it on and you're done. Takes about 15 minutes, stays rattle-free, and you can pull it off whenever you need to.
