The Husqvarna XC 250 (1984–1988) was built for wide-open riding — desert runs, sand, and fast terrain where you're pushing hard across open country. A skid plate from Ricochet keeps rocks, stumps, and debris from tearing up your undercarriage while you're out there. This one bolts right on without any drilling or modifications, so you're protected in minutes.

The Materials
This skid plate is made from 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160" thick. That thickness gives you real protection without loading your bike down. The clear anodized finish comes standard — it protects the metal and gives it a clean look that'll hold up.
Installation
The heat-treated Chrome-Moly mounting clamps do all the work for you. No drilling holes, no tapping threads into your frame. Just bolt it on using the hardware we send you, and it'll stay tight and rattle-free while you're riding.
Black Powder Coat Option
If you want a tougher, darker finish, you can add a black powder coat for $30. Keep in mind — if you pick this option, plan on an extra 1 to 2 weeks before it ships out.
