Kawasaki KLX300SM Skid Plate (2021-2026) | Redesigned & Tougher Than Before

We completely redesigned this skid plate from the ground up, and it's now our most durable version for the KLX300SM. It wraps around your undercarriage to take the hits from rocks, logs, and rough terrain so your bike doesn't. You get full coverage protection with the option to add a UHMW plastic layer on top of the aluminum—extra sliding action and impact cushioning if you want it. Installation is straightforward with our custom hardware; no drilling into your frame needed. The whole thing bolts on clean and tight.

Two Ways To Set It Up

• Aluminum Only. 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160" thick, with a clear anodized finish that resists corrosion.
• Aluminum + UHMW Plastic Layer. Same tough aluminum base with a UHMW overlay bonded on top. The plastic layer gives you extra glide over rocks and stumps, plus added shock absorption when you take a hard hit.

Why Chromoly Matters

Our brackets are Chromoly steel—that's more than twice as strong as standard steel. Your skid stays locked down, won't rattle loose, and comes off easy when you need to service it.

Black Powder Coat Option

Want a black powder coat finish instead? Add one, but expect your order to take an extra 1 to 2 weeks to ship. Black is the only color available for the powder coat.
