What You're Getting
The kit includes the skid plate itself, heavy-duty brackets, and all the hardware needed to bolt it on. No drilling into your frame, no tapping — just straightforward mounting that takes an afternoon and basic tools.
Build & Material
You've got two choices here. The standard option is 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick, with a clear anodized coating that keeps corrosion down and the metal looking good. If you want tougher impact protection, there's also a laminated option: 3/16" aluminum bonded to a 1/4" layer of UHMW plastic on the bottom. That combo soaks up bigger hits and resists abrasion better.
Color & Finish Options
Comes standard with clear anodize. If you want black powder coat instead, add that option and plan on waiting an extra week or two for shipping. There's also a DIY option where the plate ships ready for you to apply your own powder coat — that's black only and also adds 1-2 weeks to your delivery.
