Kawasaki KX85 Ricochet Skid Plate

If you're running a Kawasaki KX85 (1996-2025), you know how fast things get torn up underneath. Rocks, logs, stumps—they all take shots at your engine and frame. This Ricochet skid plate bolts on and keeps all that damage from happening. It's built from real aircraft-grade aluminum and designed to mount without any drilling or modifying your bike.

What You Get

How It's Built

Ricochet made this from 5052 H32 aircraft aluminum, the same stuff they use in skid plates across the board. It's .160 inch thick—thick enough to actually take a hit without flexing or cracking. The clear anodize coating that comes standard gives you extra corrosion protection right out of the box.

Finish Options

If you want black instead of the standard clear finish, we can add a durable black powder coat. Fair warning: if you go that route, add 1-2 weeks to your ship time.
