Can-Am Defender HD7 Cab Heater

Winter doesn't have to mean parking your Can-Am Defender HD7. This cab heater taps into your engine's coolant system to pump warm air into the cab—the same principle your truck or car uses. You stay comfortable on cold workdays and winter rides without sacrificing capability or storage space.

How It Works

The heater connects straight to your Defender HD7's factory power and ignition terminals. No complicated wiring or custom harnesses. Two main vents blast heat into the cab, and a separate defrost vent clears snow, ice, and fog off your windshield. Everything mounts cleanly behind the dashboard so it looks like it came from the factory. You get independent controls for heat and fan speed, so you adjust warmth to whatever feels right.

What Comes In The Box

The kit includes all the hoses you need, a machine-specific mounting plate, drill bits for installation, and hardware to secure everything. A defrost vent with its own hoses routes warm air to your glass. If you want to heat the rear seats too, an optional second-row heater mounts ahead of the center seat and includes its own controls and mounting gear.

Built To Handle The Cold

Heavy-duty radiator hoses are rated from -40°F all the way to 285°F, so they don't crack or leak no matter how hard you push the engine or how brutal the weather gets. SuperATV designed this system to deliver reliable, consistent warmth through frigid conditions without compromising durability.

Speed Up The Warm-Up

Two optional upgrades cut down wait time. A quick-start flow valve cuts your warm-up time roughly in half—it sends full coolant flow through the heater core when the engine's cold, then automatically redirects it once temps come up. An idle flow pump actively circulates coolant at idle to generate heat in about 30 seconds. Run them together for the fastest possible warmth during slow, low-speed travel.

Radiator Grille Cover

A grille cover blocks freezing air from hitting your radiator, which lets coolant temps climb faster and gets hot air flowing sooner. It's made from PVC-backed polyester for durability and installs or removes in seconds. Important: only use it when temps are below freezing—remove it once it warms up to avoid overheating.
