Can-Am Defender HD8 Bed Winch

If you're moving heavy stuff around your property—logs, hay, fence materials, equipment—loading it all by hand gets old fast. A bed winch cuts that work down to almost nothing. This winch bolts to your Can-Am Defender HD8's dump bed and gives you a quick, mechanical way to pull loads up and in without breaking your back.

What You Get

The kit includes a 500-pound winch built around synthetic rope (won't rust like cable), heavy-duty 1/8" carbon steel mounting brackets, all the wiring and connections you need, a wired remote control, and a cab-mounted holder for the remote. There's also a pair of cube light mounts built into the system—you can add lights if you want them for early mornings or late work, and they'll stay put even if you pull the winch off later.

How It Works

The winch bolts right to your bed frame. All the wiring runs underneath, tucked away and protected, so nothing gets pinched or damaged when you tilt the bed up. Flip the remote and the winch pulls your load in; tilt the bed and you're done. The remote is wired (no batteries to lose), and it reaches far enough that you're not stuck at the driver's seat—extra cord length gives you room to move around.
