Can-Am Defender HD8 BFT Suspension Kit

Running bigger tires on your Defender HD8 means you need room underneath. This suspension kit gives you the clearance to fit 34-inch tires without sacrificing how the machine handles. It does this by repositioning the front A-arms and adding a modest lift using brackets and spacers—keeping things stable and not overloading other parts of the suspension.

What You Get

The kit includes a complete front suspension setup built around heavy-duty components:

• Upper and lower front A-arms
• Steering stop kit
• 17 limit straps (not needed with Rhino 2.0 Axles)
• Spring spacers
• Shock brackets
• Shock bump stop (only required if running 34-inch tires)

Built Tough and Covered

The A-arms are made from 1-1/4-inch DOM steel tubing that can take real punishment. Steel brackets and billet aluminum spring spacers round out the system. If something fails during hard riding, a lifetime warranty has your back—no questions asked.

Ball Joint Options

You get three choices depending on how hard you ride. The Super Duty 300M uses the strongest steel available and is roughly 2.25 times stronger than stock, with minimal taper at the neck. The Keller design threads onto your A-arms so it can't pull free, uses chromoly and tool steel, and is rebuildable. The Heavy-Duty option combines 4340 VAR steel with zinc plating and can handle double the load of OEM joints. All three styles have grease zerks so you can service them yourself.
