Can-Am Defender HD9 Deluxe Self-Canceling Turn Signal Kit

Your Can-Am Defender HD9 didn't come from the factory with turn signals—this kit changes that. You get a complete, ready-to-go system that hooks into your existing wiring harness and lights, so installation is straightforward. The self-canceling function automatically shuts off your signals after a set time, so you won't accidentally leave them running. It's the kind of thing that just makes riding easier and safer.

This is a full package. You get four amber LED indicator lights for the front, two rocker switches (one for turn signals, one for hazards and horn), an auto-cancel control unit, a horn, all the wiring you need, and a splice kit to tie in other lighted accessories if you want them later. Models from 2020 onward also get an in-dash turn signal indicator so you can see what's active at a glance.

The whole thing plugs straight into your OEM harness using your factory connectors—no special adapters or cutting wires. Two rocker switches mount on your dash for quick access. Tap once for a quick signal or hold longer if you need the signal to stay on. The auto-cancel kicks in after your chosen duration, so the signal just stops on its own. Your existing tail lights handle the rear signals, keeping things clean and simple.

If you've got other lighted accessories in mind—extra LED strips or running lights—the included splice kit lets you wire them in so everything blinks together when you signal or activate hazards. It's designed to work with various add-ons without overcomplicating things.

The system carries an IP67 rating, which means it shrugs off water, mud, and the general abuse of trail riding. Color-coded wiring and simple connectors make the whole job faster, and you're not fighting confusing harnesses or proprietary plugs.

If you want more visibility up front without drilling holes, you can add adhesive-backed amber LED strips—available in 6 or 12-strip options. They stick on with 3M automotive-grade adhesive and wire straight into your turn signal kit. You can run up to four strips total, or mix and match them with standard button lights depending on what fits your build.
