Can-Am Defender HD9 Flip Windshield

Your Can-Am Defender HD 9 sits out in all kinds of weather. Rain, mud, dust, and flying debris can make a run miserable without proper protection. A flip windshield lets you control what hits you—crack it open for air, close it down when the weather turns nasty, or leave it partially open to get airflow without the spray. You get to decide how much shield you want, trail to trail.

What You're Getting

This windshield flips up and down smoothly thanks to gas struts that control the motion so it won't slam shut on you. It comes mostly assembled, so installation is straightforward. The setup includes a bulb seal and foam gasket to stop water and dirt from leaking through, plus reinforced mounting clamps that hold everything tight and quiet over rough ground.

Material & Durability

The shield is made from 1/4-inch polycarbonate—the same tough plastic used in armor and safety gear. It's roughly 250 times tougher than standard glass and 25 times harder than acrylic, so brush with branches, gravel, or trail obstacles won't leave you with cracks. SuperATV coats it with XR Optic Hard Coating, which blocks UV rays, resists scratches, and won't fade even after years of exposure. The finish keeps your view sharp and clear no matter how hard you push it.
