Your Tacoma's front end takes the first hit on every trail—rocks, ledges, washouts, you name it. The factory plastic shield won't cut it when you're pushing hard. A solid impact can wreck your oil pan, damage cooling lines, or bend up the stuff bolted behind them. That's where a real skid plate comes in. Ricochet makes a two-piece setup (front bash plate plus engine skid plate) that bolts up solid and keeps your undercarriage safe so you can drive like you mean it.

The Material
Both pieces are made from .250" thick 5052-H32 aircraft aluminum. That's thick enough to stop rocks cold without denting or flexing under your weight. Aluminum won't rust or corrode like steel, and it's light enough that you won't kill your fuel mileage or overload your front suspension. Plus it sheds off rocks instead of catching them.
Black Powder Coat Option
If you want it to look polished and match your bumper, we can add a black powder coat finish. It's tough, looks sharp, and sits flush under any front bumper setup.
