Material Choices
You've got two ways to go here. The standard option is 3/16" aluminum—solid, proven, and handles hard riding just fine. If you've got a 2018 or newer model and want extra toughness, there's a 3/16" aluminum with 1/4" UHMW plastic layered on top for added impact resistance.
Powder Coat Finish
Want something beyond the standard finish? You can add a black powder coat. It'll look good and protect the metal longer, but fair warning—it adds 1 to 2 weeks to when your order ships out. You can coat just the front bash plate for an extra $20, or go all-in and coat the front plus all the frame skids for $70.
