Build And Materials
These ship in 3/16" aluminum, which is tough and won't rust. If you want extra defense against hard hits, you can add a 1/4" UHMW layer on top — it'll soak up impacts and keep the guards from denting as easy.
Black Powder Coat Option
You can add a black powder coat finish for $30 if you want it to look factory-fresh and get better corrosion protection. Fair warning — if you choose the powder coat, tack on another 1 to 2 weeks before it ships.
