These are made from .160" thick 5052 H-32 aluminum — solid material that handles impacts without denting or cracking easily. Aluminum keeps weight down while still giving you real protection where it counts.
About The Black Powder Coat
You can add a black powder coat finish for an extra $40. If you choose this, tack on another 1-2 weeks for it to ship — the coating takes time to cure and get to you. Without the powder coat, you get the aluminum as-is.
