Your TT-R230's undercarriage takes a beating out there — rocks, logs, stumps, all of it. That's where this Ricochet skid plate comes in. It bolts on to your 2002-2026 TT-R230 and shields the engine, frame, and vital parts underneath from the abuse your bike encounters on the trail. Installation is straightforward thanks to custom hardware that bolts right on without any drilling or tapping required.

What You're Getting

The skid plate itself is 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160 inches thick — solid stuff that'll take repeated hits without flexing or cracking. It comes with custom Chromoly brackets and fasteners that are more than twice as strong as standard steel hardware. Everything you need to mount it is in the box. The clear anodized finish comes standard, which adds a layer of protection against corrosion and wear.

Installation

Thanks to the custom hardware, you're looking at a few minutes of work to get this bolted on. No drilling, no special tools, no headaches. The brackets and fasteners keep everything tight so there's no rattling, and you can pull the plate off just as easily if you ever need to.

Black Powder Coat Option

If you want a durable black powder coat finish instead of the clear anodize, we can add that for you. Just know it'll tack on an extra 1-2 weeks to your shipping time, and black is the only color available for this option. You can also have the surface prepped for your own powder coat work at no extra charge if you want to do the finishing yourself.
