Material and Durability

This is 1/4 inch hard-coated polycarbonate—about 250 times tougher than glass and 25 times stronger than acrylic. When trail debris hits hard, the windshield flexes and holds together instead of cracking. The hard coating adds scratch resistance and keeps UV rays from yellowing or fading the plastic over time, so it stays clear year after year.
