Pick Your Material
Two solid options depending on how hard you ride:
- Aluminum: 3/16" thick 5052-H32 aircraft-grade aluminum. Strong, takes hits, and won't let you down.
- UHMW: Front bash plate is aluminum with 1/4" UHMW bonded on top. The rest is 3/8" UHMW. You get more give on impacts, and it slides over rocks and obstacles smoother than aluminum alone.
Black Powder Coat Option
Want it to look finished and polished when it shows up? Add black powder coat to the aluminum and steel pieces:
