When you're riding your XT250 over rocky terrain, logs, or rough ground, your undercarriage takes a beating. This Ricochet skid plate bolts on to shield your engine, transmission, and frame from impacts that can crack cases or bend components. It's built from thick aluminum and comes with everything you need to bolt it down—no drilling required.

Built tough
The plate itself is 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, 0.160 inches thick—that's solid material that won't dent or fold easily. The brackets holding it on are chromoly steel, which is more than twice as strong as ordinary steel. Everything is engineered to stay put, not rattle, and come off easily if you ever need to service underneath.
Color and finish options
Your skid plate ships with a clear anodized coating that protects the aluminum from corrosion and oxidation. If you want black instead, you can add a black powder coat finish for an extra $45—just know that adds 1–2 weeks to your ship time. Alternatively, the standard finish comes prepped if you'd rather do your own powder coat work yourself at no extra charge.
