Description
Frame Skid Plate with Front Bash for Yamaha YXZ1000R (2016-2025)
When you're out there pushing your YXZ1000R, the undercarriage takes the real punishment. Rocks, stumps, ledges—they'll tear into your frame and belly in seconds if nothing's protecting it. This Ricochet skid plate bolts straight to your frame and absorbs those hits so your rig stays in one piece. It fits all 2016-2025 YXZ1000R models and comes with everything you need to bolt it on.
What You Get
- One full frame skid plate with integrated front bash plate
- Complete mounting hardware kit
Pick Your Protection
Two material options depending on how hard you run.
- Aluminum. 3/16" thick 5052-H32 aircraft grade aluminum—solid, strong defense against rocks and obstacles.
- Aluminum with UHMW. Same 3/16" aluminum base, but we add a 1/4" layer of UHMW on top. That means better impact resistance and your rig glides smoother over rough terrain instead of catching and hanging up.
Color & Finish Options
You can add a black powder coat to both the front bash and frame sections for a cleaner, more finished appearance. Cost is $100 extra, and if you choose this, tack on another 1-2 weeks for us to coat and ship it out.
Installation Notes
Before you tighten down the bolts, put a small dab of blue Loctite on each one. Rough terrain shakes things loose fast, and this keeps everything from rattling or backing out.
Made in the USA
Ricochet builds every skid plate right here. Your protection is made to last and made to stay on the job.
