1996-2026 YZ125 Kickstand
Your YZ125 needs a kickstand that won't fold up when you least expect it. A solid kickstand keeps your bike upright on soft ground and handles the constant vibration and stress that comes with riding. Ricochet builds kickstands from chromoly steel — the same material used in aircraft — so you get something that'll hold up for years without bending or breaking like aluminum would.
Two ways to mount it
- Clamp-on version — wraps around your swingarm with no drilling required. Takes about 5 minutes to bolt on.
- Bolt-on version — mounts behind the foot peg, also no drilling. Just as quick to install.
What you're getting
The kickstand shaft is made from 4130 chromoly steel. The bracket and clamp use heat-treated T1 carbon steel, which is roughly 10 times stronger than regular mild steel. A high-tension steel spring resists the fatigue that comes from constant vibration and riding impacts. The whole thing weighs just 1.5 lbs and comes with a powder coat finish that matches your bike's OEM colors.
Why chromoly works so well
Chromoly doesn't just sit there being strong — it's also flexible enough to absorb hits without cracking. Your aluminum kickstands will bend or break under pressure, but chromoly handles the weight of your bike and the stress from rough ground without failing. It's the reason it's used in airplanes and race bikes.
Powder coat finish options
Your kickstand comes standard with a color-matched powder coat. If you want to add a black powder coat finish, that's an extra option — just expect it to take 1-2 weeks longer to ship since we apply it after you order.
