If you're riding a Yamaha YZ250FX between 2015 and 2025, this skid plate is built to take the hits that come with serious off-road riding. It shields the undercarriage from rocks, logs, stumps, and whatever else you find on the trail—the stuff that'll wreck your bike's belly if you're not protected.
What You Get
The plate itself is made from 5052 H32 aircraft-grade aluminum, .160 inch thick. It comes with heavy-duty brackets and all the hardware you need—no drilling or tapping into your frame required. The whole thing bolts on straight, and the install is straightforward enough that most riders handle it in their garage.
Out of the box, it ships with a clear anodize finish that adds another layer of corrosion protection on top of the aluminum.
